Planted in November and by March (with constant fertilizing) these onions were the size of softballs (at least 40% of them) the rest were the size of baseballs. Cant wait to order again!!!

I live in zone 8A. These onions are the best. I grow enough to share with friends and family. Always get a good crop of medium to large onions and they store very well. And they always arrive in great condition. Thank you Dixondale Farms.

I planted them gradually over the course of 3 or 4 weeks. 100% of them took and I am now harvesting them, some are quite large.

Just brought in my cured harvest and weighed them today and I wound up with over 25lbs of these onions. I had ordered just one bunch and planted them back in mid-February here on the NC coast and was hopeful, but not overly optimistic. I’ve had a rough time growing onions here for a variety of reasons. This variety did beautifully, though!

Most were 5 to 6 inches in diameter . Plants were shipped well packed and 100 per cent lived.

Very forgiving. My soil is heavy clay and they still grow great.
I am in zone 8B (central louisiana).

I always plant around mid January. (Just planted 200 plants today!)

Some were braided into strands and hung on my pantry door (they were beautiful and lasted until late September!) some stored in the fridge, others given to friends and family- who are begging me to plant more this year. The 1015Y variety are truly sweet, and are surprisingly long keepers.

Received over 150 little plants late last year. Planted them and harvested about 90 percent. Some were small, some were medium, and some were large. The sizing was because the tops fell at different times and my family was anxious to try them. We harvested them between May and June 2022. I still have about 30 of them in dry storage, hanging in a box basket above the floor. They are great and store great. I am planning another batch in the early spring. Can’t wait. My family loves these Texas Super Sweet Onions. Written October 1, 2022.
